The Agami Heron had been spotted at Tirimbina and we spent hours watching the creek, to no avail. On our last morning in the rainforest, we got up early and went back into the jungle. As we were about to return, it made an appearance!
The Agami heron is very skulky and shy and moves with a jerky motion that's different than most other herons.
